Rip Reeves is CEO of Institutional Investor, with oversight of its global events platform, journalism, thought leadership and fintech businesses. In 2022, he retired as Chief Investment Officer and Treasurer of AEGIS Insurance Services after 11 years of service. In the 26+ years preceeding, Reeves’ professional experience encompassed portfolio management, global asset allocation, treasury, investment banking, sales/trading, and large team management. He has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA, both from LSU. Reeves’ board leadership includes Investment Committee Chair for The LSU Foundation overseeing the University's Endowment, service on the Northern Trust Asset Management Board of Advisors and the Preferred Mutual Insurance Company Board of Directors. He is also a Professor in the Finance Department for LSU.
