How To Prepare for Investor Meetings and Roadshows

Josh 00:00:00  So when it comes to investor relations and helping public companies prepare to go on a roadshow or a or an investor meeting, what is your secret sauce when it comes to helping prepare those public CEOs to meet with these investor groups or these roadshows?

Jennifer 00:00:16  I think it all boils down to organization on part of the investor relations person, quite honestly. First of all, when you plan your meetings, plan them well in advance so everyone can block off a day. There's no unexpected, you know, appointments that have fallen on planned it well in advance. The other thing is in between meetings cushion in plenty of times so that no meeting is ever rushed and you always have a chance to kind of regroup and reset before the next. The next appointment happens ahead of time. The second thing is prepare background information so that the investor can read up on the investor, know about the organization that they're affiliated with, and really understand the context in which the meeting will be taking place. And then the final thing it's really simple is just reconfirm all the details, whether it's an in-person meeting or a zoom meeting, put all of the logistics in an email and also reattach relevant meeting materials so that everybody has it at the top of their inbox.

Jennifer 00:01:09  The goal of an Investor Roadshow Day, quite honestly, is to make a smooth experience that maximizes shareholders value for everyone.
