Strategies for Public CEOs to Share on Social Without Risking Compliance

Josh Wilson 00:00:00  When it comes to being a public CEO, I know that there's some things that you're not allowed to share, like on LinkedIn or social media. How do you how do you help guide a CEO to to maintain compliance and make sure that they're not sharing too much?

Seth Farbman 00:00:14  That's a great question. I mean, I think that they can just play it safe and there's still plenty of information to talk about. So in other words, if there's a press release, one of the things I always suggest to the CEOs that we're working with is get two bites of the apple. So put out a post that has the title and a great graphic and the gist of the of the information. and then maybe wait a day or two and then pull out a quote from that same press release with a different visual, a different graphic that's going to land on, on a different audience. So just you don't have to make stuff up in order to, to tell a great story, to stick with the publicly available information, industry information and just help get your story out there the right way.
